F&M Trust to open Mechanicsburg Office on Carlisle Pike

(CHAMBERSBURG) F&M Trust announced plans to open a new full-servicecommunity banking office at Silver Creek Plaza on the Pike in Mechanicsburg.

The office will be located on a site currently being developed by Smith Land and Improvement Corporation. Located on the Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township, Cumberland County, the site will feature a 50,000 square foot Toys R Us/Babies R Us anchor plus Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant and 13,400 square feet of additional retail space including Subway, Great Clips and Sprint as tenants.

In addition to a banking lobby with teller stations and customer service offices, as well as drive-up teller and drive through ATM services, this new 3,188 square foot facility will provide offices and a conference room for commercial services and small business relationship managers, residential mortgage originators and Investment & Trust Services staff.

R.A. Hill, Inc of Chambersburg will be the general contractor for the project. Construction on the Mechanicsburg Community Office is slated to begin in June. The community office will be the bank’s twenty-sixth office when it opens in the fourth quarter of 2012. F&M Trust has twenty-five community banking offices located throughout Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton and Huntingdon counties in Camp Hill, Carlisle, Boiling Springs, Shippensburg, Newville, Chambersburg, St. Thomas, Mont Alto, Marion, Greencastle, Waynesboro, McConnellsburg, Hustontown, Warfordsburg, and Orbisonia.
