(HUNTINGDON) F&M Trust completed the purchase of a 1.35 acre lot in the Riverview Business Center, Mount Union from the Huntingdon County Business & Industry, Inc. today.
Initially, the bank will place a drive-up ATM at the site at 11734 Lenape Drive. However, the bank plans to open a full-service community office at the location within three years. The ATM, which will be associated with the STAR and CIRRUS networks, is expected to be placed in service this summer. When it opens, this ATM location will be F&M Trust’s second in Huntingdon County and thirty-third overall.
“We are pleased with the loan and deposit growth that we have originated from our Orbisonia Office. A significant part of that growth has come from Mount Union,” remarked William E. Snell, Jr., president and CEO. “This location will add convenience for consumers and businesses in southern Huntingdon County. We think it’s a great location for us.”
F&M Trust has twenty-five community banking offices located throughout Franklin, Fulton, Cumberland, and Huntingdon counties in Orbisonia, Hustontown, McConnellsburg, Boiling Springs, Carlisle, Chambersburg, Mont Alto, Marion, Newville, Shippensburg, Greencastle, St. Thomas, Warfordsburg and Waynesboro. F&M Trust is the wholly owned subsidiary of Franklin Financial, an independent bank holding company headquartered in Chambersburg with assets of approximately $980 million.
